I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming cottage on the outskirts of Hexham, and it was a delightful experience for my family. the location was ideal, with stunning countryside views and easy access to both the town centre and local attractions like the Roman ruins along Hadrian's Wall. One of the highlights of our stay was the comfortable living room with a cozy fireplace. It was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the beautiful hills and taking in the fresh air. the cottage also boasted very comfortable beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep for all of us. In terms of family-friendly amenities, the cottage truly exceeded our expectations. We found it to be well-equipped with everything we needed, including entertainment options for both the kids and adults. One personal anecdote that stands out is the time we spent gathered around the fire, playing board games and sharing stories. It was a wonderful bonding experience for us. the proximity to Tesco and Waitrose made it convenient for us to pick up groceries and ensure that everyone's dietary preferences were accommodated. This, combined with the short drive to the local hills for walks, made for a truly memorable family vacation. Overall, I highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a peaceful and family-friendly retreat in Hexham.
